Signs to watch for

What it usually looks like.

A smell of gas

Leave the building, do not touch switches, and call us from outside. We treat this as an emergency.

Yellow or lazy burner flame

Incomplete combustion, which can mean carbon monoxide. Stop using the appliance.

Appliance won't ignite

Could be supply, regulator or the appliance itself. We test the whole chain rather than guessing.

New appliance to connect

Cooktops, heaters, hot water and outdoor kitchens all need a licensed connection and certificate.

How we work

Four steps, every time.

01

Test

Pressure testing and electronic leak detection across the installation.

02

Make safe

Any live hazard is isolated before anything else happens.

03

Install or repair

Correctly sized pipework and regulators for the appliance load.

04

Certify

You receive the gas compliance certificate your insurer and any future buyer will ask for.

Questions

Gas Fitting, answered.

Do I legally need a certificate?

Yes. Gas work in Western Australia must be carried out by a licensed gas fitter and certified. It matters for your insurance and at the point of sale.

How often should appliances be serviced?

Annually for gas heaters, and we'd recommend a carbon monoxide test at the same time. It is a short appointment that occasionally saves a life.

Can you connect a bottled gas BBQ kitchen?

Yes — outdoor kitchens, fixed BBQs and patio heaters are all standard work for us, including the changeover hardware.
